Door Bolts
Consisting of surface-mounted interconnecting vertical rods to secure a door, cremone door bolt sets run the entire length of the door. Situated at the intersection between the opposing rods is a knob or level that upon activation secures the door by inserting one end of the rod into a floor plate and the other into the doorframe. Cremone bolts are commonly installed along the interior side of French doors, and can be used on each door or only the inactive leaf.
