Wood finishing is the process of embellishment and protection of wood surfaces. Surface preparation is the initial step in wood finishing, which is accomplished by removing imperfections in the wood. Once the imperfections are eliminated the wood finish coatings can applied in the stages and processes required for the desired outcome.
