Tumbled Marble is produced by placing the marble into large slowly vibrating cylindrical containers, and with the addition of an abrasive material and water, the antique effect is created. Marble that is tumbled has softer looking edges, sometimes almost rounded; producing a rustic, aged effect. Tumbled marble is low maintenance and doesn't show wear like glossy tile can.
Tumbled Marble will etch from acidic liquids, which can be prevented with a manufacturer-approved sealer.
