Ted Schaal-Fine Art Bronze
Almost everyone has a special object or memento they treasure. These hand crafted bronze and stainless steel pieces define a space for such things. When one opens a lid, an interaction with the contents begins. When the contents are returned to the vessel, the interaction or ceremony is punctuated by closing the lid. Everyday actions can become sacred little rituals. I want to elevate treasured objects by encapsulating them and enhancing this very personal relationship. It is my intention to emphasize this �sacred space� by contrasting the old world feel of the exterior against the pristine interior.
