Fred�s range of work covers a diversity of mood and interpretation of the landscape, people and light. Ranging from the vivid light effects seen in his paintings of Mont St Michel & Sydney Harbour to the muted tones of the Scottish highland as seen in Eilean Donan.
Inspiration for his work comes from seeing & capturing the extra-ordinary in the ordinary. This may be the way that light or colour hits the landscape or just watching people, wondering that the story behind their expressions and actions may be. Fred�s work continues to evolve with colour becoming increasingly important, but ensuring that the integrity of the visual representation is preserved.
