Post Lights
Carbon arc lamps were extensively used throughout the world from the late 1870s. Due to their intense light carbon arc lamps were not practical for lighting small interior spaces. Arc lamps survived for decades after the advent of incandescent lighting in streetlights and large interior spaces for which incandescent lighting lacked the output of arcs.
