Seasonal & Advertising
Martin Luther Beistle founded the Beistle Company in 1900 in the basement of his Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania home. The Beistle Company grew to become one of the largest American novelty producers and subsequently became a premier source for antique advertising collectibles. In 1910 Beistle brought the technology to produce honeycombed tissue to the United States, then built and patented new machines for this process. The product was embraced and Beistle rapidly expanded their production lines of paper decorations and the business thrived, and continues to be a strong, family orientated enterprise.
