Platters & Trays
Modern silver plating destroys the patina of traditional hand rolled plated ware, later Victorian era silverware was originally electroplated and the modern silver-plating process will not harm the finish. When cleaning use a reputable commercial silver polish, instant dips and polishes are damaging and should never be applied but tarnish retardant polishes are safe for use on fine silverware.
