Heavy Iron 19th Century Cauldron - 15.0002
This heavy iron cauldron, fabricated for open hearth cooking during the 19th century, was hung on a hooked arm and swung over the open fire. The handle is designed with a centered indentation that prevents sliding along the hold, and spillage of the concoction within. The outside dimensions of the kettle are 7.25 inches tall, 15 inches long and 12 inches wide. The vessel is crudely marked Marietta. C CO � 3 Gils on bottom, and comes complete with the original tin lid.
