Danish Cord is made of paper twisted into a 3-ply strand approximately 1/8" in diameter. Laced Cord has a rope-like appearance created by the three individual strands being tightly twisted together. The three strands in Unlaced Cord have a slightly looser twist, causing the strands to be less distinct and creating a smoother appearance.
