Four-Rail Seat Weaving
Genuine rush is fabricated from the leaf of a plant in the cattail family. One to three leaves are normally twisted into a strand, which is then used to weave a seat. Rush matters also known as bottomer often suffered reparatory ailments, known as matter's chest. This ailment was brought about by the inevitable inhalation of dust and mildew from stored rushes.
