Gate Hooks

The Hadrianus Gate also known as The Three Gates, is considered to be Pamphylia's most beautiful Gate. The structure consists of three arched gates that were constructed in the name of the Roman emperor Hadrian, who visited Antalya in 130 A.C. Sultan Belkis, the Queen of Sheba, is said to have passed beneath the gates and enjoyed a blissful day in the palace in Aspendos on her way to visit King Solomon. For many years the gate was concealed by the city walls, which collapsed to reveal the structure that was preserved within.
