Paper Art

Some of the worlds most fascinating paper art originated in Japan. Origami for instance is the art of paper folding, a visual sculptural representation that comes in many styles and varieties. Suminagashi is another paper art involving marbling or ink floating, the result being swirled smoke-like patterns produced on paper when colors of ink were floated on the surface of water.
