Cast in Stone
Masonry Artist John Quinn has designed and produces a unique style of vase.
They are constructed from slabs of solid NATURAL STONE, skillfully worked to shape by hand and permanently bonded using polyma fortified masonry. Every vase is unique and cannot be replicated, each has one extra decorative face showing exposed aggregates or semi precious minerals and gems. The other three sides are solid rock.
As well as being a delight to the eye these vases fulfill their function perfectly. Natural stone is a superb compliment to foliage and flowers and provides heavy, difficult to tip support for the largest of displays. The vases are fully waterproof and may be sprayed or immersed in water for cleaning purposes, each has a glass core to ensure that it is completely watertight and will not seep any moisture. Cork pads are added to the base to protect furniture.
Because John is the originating artist of what many see to be a new genre of art it is likely that his work will acquire increasing value as collectors items. Each piece has his initials etched into the stone.
John ships his work on a satisfaction or money back basis.
