These mittens are made form all natural fibers. I buy the fleece, kid mohair and alpaca from friends who produce high quality, soft fiber for handspinning - the wild silk is imported. I handwash the fibers, with a mild detergent; hand dye them, then spin the yarn before I knit the finished product. The mittens are soft, very warm and beautiful, as well as being fun to wear. Custom orders, with your personal combination of colors, are welcomed.
