Large Ceramic Tile Mural, depicting a view of Jerusalem and surrounding countryside, adapted from the Reuwich "Peregrinatio in Terram Sanctum", published in 1483. The Reuwich map became the most authoritative account of the Holy Land and was translated into many languages for the next two hundred years. Each tile measures 4.25" by 4.25 inches, overall size 74 X 30 inches (76 X 182 cm). Entirely hand painted. Could be used as a table top or mounted on a wall.
