Massive iron bound wooden ships hatch measuring 27 inches wide, 59 � inches long and 2 � inches thick. Two corners on the topside of the hatch has been scooped-out with iron strapping traversing the 6 inch span to assist in lifting the hefty porthole. The bottom of the hatch has significant remnants of the original paint finish, the topside however has been tastefully weathered bare. This piece would be ideal for a coffee table.
